Remark Web Survey will help you create and administer on-line surveys, evaluations, registrations, guest books, ballots, information request forms, and anything else that will pull in some really useful information. And you don't have to learn HTML to do it. Remark WebSurvey Standard makes it easy and affordable at £425 for anyone to create, publish and gather results from on-line forms. For multi-page forms and more extensive design features plus additional security and monitoring facilities, there is Remark WebSurvey Professional at £735. Of course these web based versions can be used in all the same areas as mentioned in the Remark Office OMR section.

Remark Web Survey Overview

If you want to gather information from the World Wide Web quickly and easily, Remark Web Survey is the solution for you. With Remark Web Survey, you can create on-line surveys, evaluations, registrations, guest books, etc. for the Internet or an Intranet, without knowing any HTML.

Remark Web Survey has two easy-to-use components. Use the Designer Component to create your web surveys. Then use the Server Component to prepare the surveys for your web server and collect the data.

If you use Remark Web Survey in conjunction with Remark Office OMR®, the form processing and tabulation software from Principia Products, Inc., you can convert your paper-based surveys into on-line surveys, and combine the results. Then use Remark Office OMR to analyze the data or export it to your favorite analysis package.

Creating Web Surveys
You can use Remark Web Survey to create web-based surveys from scratch with an easy-to-use Form Wizard, or from paper-based forms by converting Remark Office OMR templates into web surveys with the click of a button.

Customizing Your Form
Once you've generated your on-line form, you can customize it by adding graphics, lines, text labels, colors, fonts, question groups and much more. Each form element is presented within a Tree-View construct to allow convenient navigation and access to all form properties.

Publishing the Survey
When your survey is ready for use, simply place it on your web site for use with the Remark Web Survey Server Component. The Server Component consists of two PERL scripts used for installing forms and collecting data.

Retrieving the Data
The Remark Web Survey Server Component allows you to install and administer web surveys, collect the data and then download the results using only your web browser.

Using the Data
Data collected by the Server Component is stored in a tab delimited ASCII file which can be imported into most spreadsheets, databases, and statistical software packages. When Remark Web Survey is used in conjunction with Remark Office OMR, you can take advantage of the robust data processing features of Remark Office OMR to save your data to more than 30 different file formats and/or use its built-in test grading and survey tallying feature set.
